facial recognition systems in Nigeria

Security Solutions World is a Security Company in Nigeria that distributes face recognition technologies and applications for commercial and government customers.
Facial biometrics technologies allow the development of research into face data, video analysis, video indexing and statistical data collection, verification of image conformity of faces to International Standards.

We can be of service to add a powerful face recognition and video analysis algorithm to CloudCRM & Business Intelligence.

Add a fast and precise Face Finder to your applications to locate objects in an image. Set it up for facial recognition or other objects, such as bones on an x-ray.

The SDK contains a series of instructions that return the number of target objects found in the current image, the position of each point for each mask and, if available, an estimate of the 3D pose of the object.

Zone Screening

Increase the security of an area (airports, stations, railways, etc.) with a complete set of biometric tools.

Our systems identify faces via cameras and monitors identities for use for recognition and identification purposes. The system can be trained to identify a specific subject within a database of faces.

We have security architecture and parameters that uses the proprietary functions of ccEngine.

Face Recognition

All the modules needed to build and compare biometric templates:

Face Detection: find the position and size of the face in the image
Face Normalization: rotate and scale the face image, marking the point of morphological interest over the entire area of the face.
Feature Extraction: select the relevant features from the normalized image to maximize recognition.
Biometric Template Creation: a trained statistical engine processes the extracted vector template. The “feature vector” is reduced to a smaller one that describes the identity of the user.
Biometric Template Matching: face recognition and verification are based on the differences between biometric templates.

The new security frontier is certainly the biometric control and facial recognition of the individual. Biometrics is based precisely on the recognition of different somatic traits, of fingerprints, of the human iris thus offering the certainty of recognizing the individual from his peculiar traits. Facial recognition is the real new frontier of international security, which is why the new electronic passport also has a digital photo identifying the subject in question.

The photos used for facial recognition must in any case necessarily respect certain quality standards to ensure a guaranteed and reliable result. In fact, the appropriate checks must be carried out through pre-set international standards and not through subjectivity.

The development of facial recognition is identified in three different phases.

Facial recognition – Stages of image creation

  • The analysis

In the first phase the facial recognition system identifies the face through the scan determined by the contrast, the brightness, the position of the face on the vertical and horizontal axis, the number of faces in the image, resolution and size of the image and rotation of the face around to the axis set on the subject’s nose.

  • Classification

After the initial analysis, facial recognition is classified into three different categories, ie optimal quality, which cannot be changed or modified.

  • Possible change

In the last phase the images of the facial recognition can be modified following the required geometric and biometric standards and the characteristics previously exposed in phase 1.

Facial recognition – Technologies

The facial recognition systems use different techniques and technologies and currently the main ones are the PCA Technology (Principal Component Analysis), the LFA (Local Feature Analysis) technology and finally the neural networks. Even if in Italy the biometric facial recognition has not yet taken root, especially due to the difficulties found in making this technology coincide with the privacy regulations currently in force, facial recognition is always finding new solutions to overcome these problems. In practice, the future of security is certainly entrusted to facial recognition or more generally to biometrics, which Securline has been dealing with for years now.
